The NRWC Ambassadors have a strong and dedicated history with the National Rural Women’s Coalition and are well-informed about the work we undertake and champion.
The Ambassadors focus on enhancing the NRWC’s reputation through various activities, both on and offline, and will positively and publicly supportive of the work of the National Rural Women’s Coalition.
Leonie Noble
Leonie Noble is from Geraldton in the Midwest of Western Australia. Leonie has a passion for women’s leadership and the seafood industry with over thirty years as a lobster fisher and siting on national & state fishing boards and committees supporting the industry. Leonie was also a Director of the NRWC for nine years, four as President. Leonie was one of two Delegates selected to be part of the Australian delegation to the APEC Women’s Economic Forum in Peru in 2016 and attended the United Nations Commission the Status of Women 62 & 63 session in New York advocating for rural women’s equality. Leonie also works and speaks internationally with Women in Seafood. And has been awarded many national and state leadership awards and has been inducted into the National Seafood Hall of Fame.
Jo Stewart-Rattray
Jo Stewart-Rattray is from Auburn, South Australia. Jo has over 25 years’ experience in the Technology field some of which were spent as CIO in the Utilities and Tourism arenas, and 19 in the Information Security arena. She underpins her technology and cyber security background with her qualifications in education and management.
She specialises in consulting in strategic technology issues with a particular emphasis on governance in both the commercial and operational areas of businesses. Jo provides strategic advice to organisations across several industry sectors including banking and finance, utilities, manufacturing, tertiary education, retail and government.
