The National Rural Women’s Coalition (NRWC) is gearing up for its first book launch in rural Australia at the Dymocks Book Store in Albury NSW. Brave Danny addresses domestic violence in a sensitive way targeting children aged 4-8 in a picture book style concept. It serves as a tool for educators, teachers and parents to engage young children about the subject.

The NRWC has been working on this project for nearly two years and finally its vision to provide a one of its kind resource for small children in the arena of domestic violence is launched and the book is available to buy.
“It is the sincere hope of the NRWC that Brave Danny plays a strong role in helping some of our smallest victims." says Alwyn Friedersdorff, President of the National Rural Women's Coalition who will officially launch the book in Albury.
Accompanying notes, activities and worksheets have been designed to support the underlying messages in the book by Nicky Johnston (illustrator) and Jenny James (design).
