Australian Women in Agriculture
Australian Women in Agriculture Ltd (AWiA) is the peak national body representing women in all areas of agriculture and agribusiness.
Our members span the entire agricultural value chain, from on-farm production to education, research, extension, agribusiness, policy, and industry leadership.
Founded in 1993, AWiA provides a strong, connected network that advocates for the recognition, contribution, and leadership of women in agriculture. With no branch structure, members engage through local networks, national events, our annual conference, online forums, and professional development programs.
The organisation is governed by a nationally representative board, ensuring women’s voices are heard at decision-making tables and across the agricultural sector.
